Product Spotlight: Procella Audio P28 L/C/R Speaker

Application: Extremely High-Output Speaker for Medium to Large Rooms and Dedicated Theaters

With output levels equivalent to the reference standard P815, but in a much more compact package, don’t overlook the P28 as an extremely high- performance L/C/R option. The P28 is the mid and high frequency module from the massive P860, and it is now available separately. Using the same pro audio driver components as the P8, it doubles up on 8″ woofers in a D’Appolito configuration, delivering far more impact and output, and reaching a maximum output of 128 dB when baffle- wall mounted!

The P28 is designed to match to a Procella subwoofer at the standard home THX crossover of 80Hz, making for a more affordable solution that does not require DSP or an additional amplifier channel. And like all Procella models, its cabinet depth is quite shallow at just 7.1 inches/180mm.

When you need maximum dynamics with studio reference audio quality, the P28 delivers in a smaller and more cost- effective package than the P815 and P860.

Procella’s Sound Room SR-12 is a must-see at this year’s show! We’re building a baffle wall to showcase biamplified P815s, a P18 active subwoofer and an array of P6 surround speakers. Playback and amplification are through StormAudio’s SSP16.3D processor and StormAudio amplification.

Procella DA-2800: Den ultimata förstärkaren till Procella högtalare

Bra högtalare behöver en bra förstärkare och det är anledningen till att vi skapade DA-2800. Vi har spenderat mer än två år för att testa varenda klass-D förstärkar modul på marknaden och samtidigt utvecklat vår egen DSP-mjukvara och programmering. Resultatet är DA-2800 som vi är mycket stolta över och den är bästa möjliga förstärkaren för Procella högtalare. DA-2800 ökar ytterligare ljudkvalitén som Procella högtalare och subwoofers är kända för vilket ger dig en ännu större konkurrens försprång när det gäller att bygga 1:a klass hembiografer, studios eller kommersiella biografer.

Detaljerna: DA-2800 är en 2.800 Watts 4-kanals effektförstärkare som levererar 700W x 4 i 4 ohm och 360W x 4 i 8 ohm. För maximal effekt kan kanalparen bryggas för att producera 1400 W vid 8 ohm. Förstärkarens klass-D design är mycket effektiv och producerar enorm effekt i ett chassi som är endast 1 RU hög.

Det finns två versioner av förstärkaren: DA-2800 och DA-2800DSP. DA-2800DSP har inbyggd DSP med fabriksprogrammerade presets. Det ger aktiv delning och exakt EQ för att ge bästa möjliga ljud med Procella högtalare och subwoofers. Fabriksinställningarna täcker majoriteten av systemkonfigurationer men för unika systemkrav så går det att förbeställa den med anpassad DSP programmering. DA-2800 används när DSP inte behövs. Med helt transparent ljudkvalitet och kraftreserver för enorm dynamik så är DA-2800 verkligen den ultimata förstärkaren för Procella högtalare!

Procella P8 får uppgradering med nya element och delningsfilter

Great news – we’ve made a set of improvements to the P8 loudspeaker that elevate its performance to an even higher level! Here’s the quick summary of the improvements:

– A new Neodymium 1.5 inch compression driver for high frequencies, mounted on a Procella custom-designed constant directivity waveguide, that improves high-frequency extension.

– A new 8 inch woofer driver that increases power handling and output, especially at low frequencies around the recommended subwoofer crossover point.

– A new crossover optimized for the new driver components, that improves dispersion at the crossover frequencies.

The best news is that the new P8 is shipping now worldwide, with no price increase!
